Seizures

SEIZURES Treatment: • Diazepam 3 doses. • 1 dose 0.3 mg/kg. • 2 dose 0.1 mg/kg. • 3 dose 0.1 mg/kg. Along with the second dose put phenytoin (1hr to avoid arrythmias) 15-18mg/kg diluted in dextrose. It helps to stop following seizures. Phosphofenytoin doesn’t produce arrhythmias. • • • 1 dose phenobarbital 18mg/kg. Midazolam infusión 1 mcgr/kg/min. Pentotal, propofol, lidocaine.
