The biggest problem facing the member was her inability to get
an appointment with her primary care provider.
She had been out of her medications for months and was using
herbal supplements to treat her chronic illnesses, which included
rheumatoid arthritis, hypothyroid, hypertension and
hyperlipidemia.
To start the visit, I called her medical clinic and arranged for her
to be seen in four days. The member was very pleased.
