Two things stand out from this one night research project.
Number one – Though a commonly known fact television companies advertise soaps on their own channels in order to save advertisement cost. Number two – Soaps advertise during periods when their potential audiences’ are tuned in to their channel. For example, Hollyoaks, teenagers soap advertise during a teenagers show, the Inbetweeners. This tactic insures the advert is paid attention to and successful.
