Not only does the sun provides us with light and warmth, but it it is also
gives a possibility to heat water and gain electricity.
With increasing price of fossil fuel-based electricity, solar power is grow-
ing in popularity. It’s especially popular in sites distant from the main
power grid.
MET is ofering systems for individual farms, houses and small tourist
sites, which may be a great opportunity not only to have a power source
in remote locations, but also to save some money.
The system is fully integrated into an existing heating system. If the house is already equipped with a hot water boiler and pump, a sig-
nifcant decrease (~50%) of system installation cost can be achieved. With greater demand for hot water, there is no need to increase the
number of solar collectors, because water can be heated with electricity or using boiler house. Solar heating system with one solar col-
lector and a boiler with capacity of 160 liters is enough for four-person family.
Principal scheme of solar thermal
power plant :

1. Solar collector
In case of higher hot water demand, the
number of collectors can be easily in-
creased.
2. Group of pump mechanisms
Automatically regulates the fow of hot
water from one or more collectors to the
boiler.
3. Heat transfer circuit
The water or other liquid in the collector is
fed into the boiler, where it gives its heat
to the water. Then it cools again and re-
turns to the collector.
4. Universal hot-water boiler
has high-thermal insulation, ensuring long-
term retention of heat generated and the
quality of hot water preparation suitable
for consumption. The boiler can be
heated with electricity and
connected to an existing heating system of
a building.
5. An additional heating element
can be connected to the boiler room and
use electrical heater.
6. Gained energy monitoring equipment.
7. Home heating system circuit
8. Output: shower, heated foors, swimming
pool, etc.

The reference price of full system, including equipment, trans-
portation and installation costs is 4000 € including VAT. 5-year
warranty and maintenance included.

Daily consumption of up to 150 liters of hot water would save
up to 63% of hot water expenses per year, and during the sum-
mer season (from April to September in Lithuania) months -
up to 88%.

Daily consumption of up to 200 liters of hot water would save
up to 47% of hot water expenses per year, and during the sum-
mer season - up to 76%.

warranty and maintenance included.

Daily consumption of up to 40 liters of hot water would save up
to 73% of hot water expenses per year, and from during the sum-
mer season months - up to 100%.

Daily consumption of up to 200 liters of hot water would save up
to 64% of hot water expenses per year, and during the summer
season months - up to 92%.
Technical description of collector
• Geometrical dimensions: Length - 2.10 m, width - 1.15 m, thickness - 0.09 m.
• Weight - 42 kg.
• It is a fat solar collector with absorbent copper plate and selective coating.
• Inert gases contained within the reservoir cover and solar energy-absorbing panels greatly reduce heat loss.
• Glass-fber frame.
• Collector design is airtight and protects heat-absorbing plate against harmful environmental efects, such as mois-
ture and dust.
• Can be installed on the ground and roof, maintaining ~ 54 ° horizontal angle.
• All equipment needed for proper operation of solar energy collection system and safety devices are installed in a
compact pump station unit.
• Componens: pump, relief valve, pressure gauge, thermometers and integrated fow velocity meter.
• Expansion vessel is ofered as optional accessorie.
