Tour of Robben Island by Ferry and Bus to experience the life that Nelson Mandela
went through in prison to become a Global Icon. The island was brought to the

world's attention when Mandela was released on the 11 February 1990 after
serving 27 years in prison. Today, Robben Island is a UNESCO World Heritage
Site – acting as a museum as well asa reminder of the price Nelson Mandela
paid for the freedom of democracy.
The Giant Aquarium provides an indoor experience of the underwater kingdom.
Both Atlantic and Indian Ocean species with penguins at the River Meander exhibit
a wonderful experience of the under water world. A play station for kids at the Afrisam
Children's Play Centre is a perfect way to refresh the minds of the future leaders
Outdoor splashing at Water World in Strand and an array of water activities that include
slides, rides, pools, and jungle gyms shall leave a memorable educational tour like no
other. A Play Park, grassy lawns and cafés are also available for those who are “afraid”
of water.
