The 34th Annual American Crafts Festival at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts will take place June 19, 20, 26, and 27. This outdoors event will take place rain or shine under tents at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Four hundred juried craft displays of original and handmade designs have been selected from every region of the United States for this event. Additionally, ample entertainment, craft demonstrations and exotic and natural foods will delight the senses. The 17th annual “Taste Of Times Square” food and entertainment festival, organized by the Times Square Alliance will take place Monday, June 7 on Broadway and 46th Street from 5 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. Experience "tastes" of delicious signature dishes from more than 50 of Times Square's best restaurants — including historic Restaurant Row. New-comers to the food festival include Haru, Aspen Social Club and Schnipper's Quality Kitchen as well as long-time favorites Virgil’s Real Barbecue and John's Pizzeria. Festival attendees will also have the opportunity to vote for the “Taste of Times Square Favorite.” Was it the steak sandwiches or the beautiful decorations put up by the restaurant’s staff? The Manhattan Art & Antiques Center begins this new decade with the celebration of its 35th anniversary. Opened in 1975, The Manhattan Art & Antiques Center, New York’s largest and finest emporium for antiques, houses over 100 galleries on three levels the length of a city block with a wide variety of collections from America, Europe, Africa and Asia. They specialize in fine furniture, silver, jewelry, tapestries, clocks, paintings and many other objects of art. Linked by elevators and a dramatic spiral staircase, The Center has been an important resource for collectors, interior designers, tourists and antique buffs.
