Minimum Qualifications and Selection Process

Candidates with aggregate of 80% in Mathematics, Physics
and Chemistry in the plus 2 of Tamilnadu Government
examinations or equivalent are eligible to apply.
In order to make the International Education available at PSG
campus, PSGIAS has entered into collaborations and signed
a number of MoUs with various Universities.
Applicants with high academic credentials may be given
direct admission. Other shortlisted candidates will be called
for interview / written test for final selection. Selection and
date of commencement of class will be communicated to the
candidates through email / letters.

Description of the Programme
This is a four year degree program with international exposure.
In the first three years of study, all students will do their courses
at PSG, the academic curriculum being the same as that of
Anna University courses offered by PSG.
In addition, the students will study the following subjects.
American History
Organisational Behaviour
Indian Language
Sociology and Global Issues
In order to secure admission to Farmingdale State College,
students should pass their examinations with a minimum of
70% of marks.
The credits obtained in the first 3 years will be transferred to
SUNY.
Students should also pass TOFEL with more than 70 Marks
(Out of 120) to qualify for US student Visa to take up 4th Year
of study.
In the 4th year of study students can select their courses of study
from the prescribed list and do the project thesis as part of their
curriculum.
Degree (ABET accredited) will be offered by SUNY after
successful completion of the course.

personal integrity, ethical behavior, cultural awareness and
lifelong learning.
