The problems that can result as a result of the implementation of the Budget Control Act of 2011 are arguably unrivaled in domestic policy. Budget cuts impact policy agendas which in turn impact benefit programs and services; these in turn impact customer service metrics and our client’s quality of life. Quality of life is not free and neither is the absence of it. The only sound policy is one that takes responsibility for the consequences of its policies. Quality and costs are complementary metrics. Costs are reduced through the development and implementation of sound policies that proactively respond to the needs of the community.
