“It was an amazing and useful course. Excellent and accessible faculty.” Andrew Weisenger, MD, Blythewood, SC “This was the absolute best clinical experience course I have attended. The faculty are all phenomenal, interested in seeing people improve their skills and very nonintimidating. It met every expectation I had and even exceeded some.” Denise Ward, DO, Bristol, IN “This weekend you have demystified many of the techniques needed to be confident in managing even the most difficult airway. The course has also given me the confidence and extra knowledge needed when faced with all types of airways.” Pam Sparling, CRNA, San Pedro, CA “This was one of the best workshop courses I have ever attended in my 25 years of practice. It is something I plan to attend every few years to stay current and knowledgeable about such a vital skill for us as anesthesia providers.” Judy Thompson, CRNA, New Haven, CT ™

“The practical hands on experience met my expectations and far exceeded any other CME course with regards to practical application.” Stephen Mason, MD, Burlington, VT w w w . t h e a i r w a y s i t e . c o m

Dear Colleague:
Picture this…you’ve just induced and paralyzed a patient for an elective surgical procedure and now you can neither intubate nor ventilate the patient…the oxygen saturations plummet…you struggle to obtain an airway…the pulse rate begins to fall…you struggle some more…people run to your aid…eventually you manage to get an endotracheal tube in the right place, but none too soon. You are diaphoretic, trembling and exhausted. Then you take a closer look at the patient’s airway and wonder if there was any way you could have identified features portending this difficulty!! The Difficult Airway Course: Anesthesia is specifically designed to enable you to predict with greater certainty those you may not be able to intubate AND, more importantly, it will equip you with the skills you need to rescue an airway in the face of potentially deadly failure. Your patients, your colleagues…and the courts expect you to be able always to recognize and manage the difficult or failed airway.

“Excellent Course!! For the first time ever, I attended the entire course! Everyone kept my attention and interest. The content is extremely important in my anesthesia environment of office-based practice. I liked the course setup of relocating to various rooms to prevent monotony. Hands-on is an excellent learning mechanism and prevents boredom. I’ll highly recommend this course. The staff are experts in their fields. I will incorporate what I Learned into my practice.” Jessica Dowling, CRNA, Marion, CT
