The rules of the “FACES AND PLACES” photography contest
1. The aim of this contest is to show your partners from abroad the beauty of your own country and to make your mates from Poland/Spain more familiar with your region and village. Think of people and places that make your world a special place and try to capture and show their unique qualities and features. 2. Photos HAVE TO BE TAKEN WITH A DIGITAL CAMERA (due to poor quality photos taken with mobile phones will not be accepted) 3. Photos should be handed to your teacher until the deadline on May 21, 2010 in an electronic form/ in a digital form/ on a CD with your name on it. 4. You have to have full copyright to all the pictures you want to show. 5. To enter our contest you can send/ hand in a maximum of three photos – REMEMBER the professionals show to the public only their BEST works. Each photograph must be accompanied by a short description in English (80-100 words) of the place or person shown in the photo or a commentary in which you explain why they are important to you 6. The contest will end with exhibitions in both schools – Publiczne Gimnazjum in Jabłonna and Ibaialde School in Burlada at the same time – at the end of May. 7. Prizes - we hope to have them but we don't know anything about them yet, but we are working on it-.
