Upon Red Stevens death, he wanted to pass on his legacy and to change how his family is. He has chosen Jason to live up his wisdom and wealth which he called the Ultimate Gift. But before Jason could have it, he has to pass different challenges his grandfather prepared for him. By the mere idea of it, I was touched. Life has not always been easy. To win something, you have to lose some. His grandfather loves him so much that he has wanted him to come alive and live the fullest. He reminds me of my lola whom I treasure so much because she have given me the best gift I ever had – the gift of love. She has been taking care of me and has been financing my schooling since I was little. And, until now she still does, and has been working like a 25 years old entrepreneur but she really is 65. I have been trying so hard to at least make her feel that I am worth the sweat. She has been supporting me in all of my endeavors. I remember when I competed in a Cake Decorating Contest; she organized everything – from the chef who will teach me to the ingredients I will use. She seems more excited than me and even intervenes in the middle of the cake tutorials. She would tell me how the icing taste so good and how she can foresee me winning. She is the only person who believed in me – in my talents and intelligence. When I make mistakes, she easily forgives me. She effortlessly forgets about it. Instead of yelling at me, she talks with her soft voice and cliché that cheers me up. She never accused me. But it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t restraint me with my wrongdoings. All I can say she has her own mysterious ways to find things out, so I can’t make a lie to her. These are why I am very thankful that God gave me to her. It is not just with the money she spent but the time she intended for me. There are just few people who give love like this. And, I am one of the luckiest people that had her as my lola. I’ll be lost without her that I might not find my driveway to aim higher and to dream bigger because she is my motivation. And, she will forever be my idol, a mother of faith and a mother of action.
