Hi Lucas,
I´m very happy to hear from you ´cos I haven´t seen you
for ages. I read your email asking me for a recommendation
for your holidays and I´m sure that you´d enjoy a lot if you
traveled to the Pyrenees.
In terms of accommodation, it depends on how many days
you want to stay there. If you are going to travel for a few
days, the best option could be a hotel near to Ordesa Valley.
On the other hand, if you are going to stay more than a
week, you´re best staying in a camp site. There a loads of
this kind of establishment nearby to Torla, the nearest
village to Ordesa Valley. You could save a lot of money going
camping and you could use it to do more tours.
As far as places to see are concerned, you should visit Cola
de Caballo waterfall. The panoramic view is amazing. It´s a
seven-hour walking round trip but I know that you are in a
good shape and hiking is an activity of your liking.
If you want to relax, you should swim into the river. There
are lots of ponds along the river but be careful ´cos the
water are freezing.
In terms of eating out, you´re better off eating in some
restaurants in the middle of nowhere. There are many
tourist traps in the most visited villages.
