UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION FOR 2010/2011 Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into Babcock University (BU), for 4 and 5 year Degree Programmes. GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Minimum qualification for the Degree Programme is 5 credits at the GCE/SSCE/NECO Examinations or their equivalent (at not more than 2 sittings). Applicants below 16 years need not apply. CANDIDATES AWAITING 2010 WACE/NECO SSCE RESULTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRESENT ACCEPTABLE QUALIFIFCATION BEFORE MATRICULATION. All candidates applying to BU MUST register and sit for the current JAMB examination. The University shall give PRIORITY to Candidates that have chosen Babcock as either 1st or 2nd Choice. All candidates who chose Babcock University as either their first or second choice and those who intend to change their choice to BU MUST PURCHASE BU Admissions Forms and participate in the post UTME screening exercise. No admission is possible into BU without BU Screening. SCHOOL OF EDUCATION & HUMANITIES DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION RESOURCE MANAGEMENT Degree Offered: - (BIRM) Bachelor in Information Resources Management Requirement: 5 Credits including English Language and a D7 Mathematics in an advantage.

DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY & INTERNATIONAL STUDIES Degree Offered: - B.A. (Hons.) History & International Studies Requirement: 5 credits including English Language, History/Government, any other 3 subjects, and at least a pass in Mathematics DEPARTMENT OF LANGUAGES & LITERARY STUDIES Degrees Offered: - B.A. (Hons.) English Studies - B.A.English(Options) in Communication - B.A. (Hons.) French Studies - B.A.French( Options) in Diplomatic Studies. Requirement: 5 credits including English Language, Literature in English and any other three subjects. For French/Diplomatic Studies, the other three credits must include French and Government/History. DEPARTMENT OF MASS COMMUNICATION Degree Offered: - B.A. Mass Communication Requirement: 5 credits including English Language, Literature in English and any other three subjects. DEPARTMENT OF RELIGIOUS STUDIES Degrees Offered: - B.A. (Hons) Religious Studies[1] - B.A. (Hons.) Christian Religious Studies.[2] Requirement: 5 credits including English Language,IRS and any other 3 subjects for [1] and CRS for [2] above.A pass in Mathematics is required for each of the programmes.

(Hons) International Law & Diplomacy Requirement: 5 credits including English Language, Literature in English, History/Government and at least a pass in Mathematics. (Hons) Accounting Requirement: 5 credits including English Language, Economics, Mathematics and any other two relevant subjects.
