Casement Windows
A window with hinged sash that swings in or out like a door comprising either a
side hung, top hung or occasionally bottom hung sash or a combination of these
types.
A sash window is the traditional style of window that overlap slightly & slide
up and down inside the frame.
Tilt and Turn Windows
A Tilt & Turn window can both tilt inwards at top or open inwards from hinges
at the side.
Bay Windows
A multipanel window with atleast three panels set at different angles to create a
protrusion from the wall line.


French Door/Windows
A French Window (when hinged becomes a French door) is a large door-sized
lattice light, typically set in pairs or multiple thereof, known as Porte-Fentre in
France, they often overlook a terrace & are commonly used in modern houses.
Lattice Light is a compound window pane made up of small pieces of glass held
together in a lattice or criss-cross pattern.
