Davis, Weber, Alpine have most dirty buses
Older school buses cause more pollution than new diesel, propane or compressed natural gas buses, which must meet certain environmental standards. Across the state, school districts have 1,048 buses made in 2001 or earlier. That's about 37 percent of all school buses statewide.
