Vietnam Visa on Arrival: Apply Online for an approval letter
Visa is required for any travel to Vietnam and visitors must obtain for a pre-approval letter prior
to arrival the country. A Vietnam Visa on arrival comes in two categories, a Tourist Visa and A
Business visa in different length and can be obtained from any Vietnam Embassy or consulate
office worldwide. Visas are valid for 30 and 90 days depending on your nationality and purpose
of Visit and if you required an extension then you might be able to do when in Vietnam

How to apply for a Vietnam Visa on Arrival
1. Apply for a Visa beforehand and through the Embassy: REQUIREMENT and
PROCEDURE
A Valid passport and with validity of more than 6 month, Visa application form, 2-3 passport
sized photo and visa fee in a range of 50 - 85US$ if applied directly to Embassy or 25-45 US$ if
your visa has been pre-approved. This fee depends on Embassy and type of visa you applying
for. After submission you will have to wait from 2 to 5 days to get your visa stamped into your
passport.
2. Apply for Vietnam Visa on arrival: In this way, you will only require to apply online and
receive your pre-approval letter to which allow you to board the flight and pick your actual visa
upon arrival at any international airports in Vietnam, the visa stamping fee must be paid directly
to the immigration officers and it is vary from US$45 to 95 depending on the length of your visa
and the document you need to present once in airport is 1 passport sized photo, filling the visa
application and the cash in US Dollar.

3. Passport number
3. Date of expiry
4. Date of birth
5. Nationality

Once we receive the above details we will go through to submit your document with immigration
and this takes 3 working days to send over your visa on arrival.
I have received my Vietnam Visa on arrival, what should I do next:
Upon arrival at Vietnam's airport, expect a simple form to fill in. Kindly prepare 2 pictures, 45
USD for stamp fees per person and 15 minutes waiting time.

Vietnam Visa Exemption:
Vietnamese people that hold foreign passports and foreigners who are their husbands, wives
and children are exempt from visa requirements to enter Vietnam and are allowed to stay for not
more than 90 days. In order to be granted visa exemption certificates at Vietnamese
representative offices abroad, overseas Vietnamese need conditions:
• Foreign-issued permanent residence certificate (PRC) with the validity of at least six months
since the date of entrance.
• Visa exemption paper (VEP) is granted by Vietnamese appropriate authorities.
Country and its citizen do not need Vietnam visa:
Asian Countries: Thailand (exempt validity: 30 days), Indonesia (30 days), Singapore (30 days),
Malaysia (30 days), The Philippines (15 days), Laos (30 days), Kingdom of Brunei Darussalam
(30 days), Japan (15 days), South Korea (15 days), Cambodia (14 days)

European Countries: Sweden (15 days), Denmark (15 days), Finland (15 days), Norway (15
days), Russia (15 days) and from July.30.2015: UK, Italy, France, Spain and Germany
Please note: The Free visa for countries listed on Visa Exemption is only for the given time, if
you stay in Vietnam for more than 15 days you will required to apply a separate visa in advance
and if you traveling with Luxury Travel Vietnam we will offer you free 30 day visa approval letter.
