VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING AND LAUNCH MANAGEMENT (2007 - PRESENT)
Lead the day-to-day engineering operations in a Matrix organization to drive toward successful project
completion. Develop and manage a yearly operating plan (D&D budget) and oversee the daily operations of a
105,000 FT2 facility. Give leadership direction to 120 Engineers and 8 Directors/Managers ensuring personnel are
assigned to the appropriate tasks. Hire, conduct performance and salary reviews, coach, and mentor new
engineers and managers for developing technical and managerial potential.








Restructured and streamlined the engineering organization by implementing Resource Planning Process
ensuring efficiency and prompt service to the product lines. Annual saving of $750,000.
Developed skills and training matrix ensuring the right resources are available for a given project.
Responsible for launching 5 new products into production utilizing state of the art assembly lines for high
volume production.
Executed design reviews and development process guidelines to complete design to cost and on time

and indirect reporting responsibilities for 45 employees. Managed the construction, set-up, and staffing of new
