VPN SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Press the Start button and click Control Panel. A new window will open up and then
click “View Network Status and Tasks” under “Network and Internet” as below.
2. Click “Setup a new Network Connection” as marked below

3. Click “Connect to Workplace” as marked below
4. Now Click “Use my Internet Connection (VPN)” as marked below

5. In next window, please add the following things as marked below:
a. Internet Address= 96.56.206.85
b. Description= “MY VPN” or whatever you want
c. Check the box “Don’t connect now, just set it up so I can connect later”
d. Then press “Next” button
Enter the username= [given to you in email]
Password= [given to you in email]
Check the box remember password. Then click “Create” button

6. After this click Close. Then click Change Adapter Settings as shown below
7. Right click “MY VPN” and click Properties as shown below

8. Click Networking tab, then select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP) and press
Properties button
9. Click Advanced

10. Uncheck the “Use default Gateway on Remote Network”. Press OK button.
Click OK and click OK again.
11. Right Click on “MY VPN” and click Connect
And you get a message that “MY VPN” is now connected.
