Message FRoM the pRogRaM specialist
Now that the weather is getting a little nicer after this memorable winter, we hope you head out and engage in some leisurely activities. These leisurely activities can be found in our Parks and Recreation Guides. Inside our Summer 2011 Program Guide, you will find a wide variety of programs, activities and events. Our staff has worked diligently in putting together quality summer programs for all participants. Our camp offerings range from traditional playground programs to our month long Summer Arts Programs. For our sports enthusiasts check out our sports camps covering football, baseball, tennis, golf and basketball to name a few. Any future architects or engineers? Our very popular Lego Engineering Camp will be taking place in August. The very popular Twilight Tunes concerts return to the Parade Grounds at Town Hall with a great line up of bands to entertain us all this summer. Please see the performer line up and schedule under the Special Events section. Four of the five bands this summer will be first time performers for our Twilight Tunes Concerts. Their sounds and enthusiasm will get you out of your seats this summer! From all of us at the Parks and Recreation Department, we hope you all have an active, safe and enjoyable Summer! Best regards, Kenny Michaels Recreation Program Specialist
