WATERPROOF “Pag may bagyo college lang may klase? Anong tingin nyo samin, waterproof!?” They say that you aren’t a true Thomasian when you haven’t been “wet”. Yes, that’s the word. WET. Wet from the heavy downpour of several rains, and wet from the ankle-to-the-waist length of floods. For years, UST, having been branded as an “aquatic” university, has been a usual victim of massive floods that present itself as an annoyance and inconvenience to its students. However, as time goes by, these students learn to embrace that same dilemma, and even start to have fun with it. Now, a new generation of Thomasians has emerged, and one would wonder how their first encounter with the intense weather had gone.
