Celebrate 156 Years of the
Wayne County Fair.
There is “Magic in the Air”
at the Wayne County Fair!
The Wayne County Fair is ready to put on their 156th annual event.
No theme park can boast that fact!
While many county fairs have disappeared over time,
the Wayne County Fair has survived and thrived to bring six days
of pure fair enjoyment that includes contests to watch and participate in.
Fair attendees can see hundreds of exhibits,
listen to a variety of good musical entertainment, taste great food and
take in the simple pleasures of a county fair for everyone.
Come experience the Wine, Cheese and Farm Market Tasting on Thursday, August 11.
Wegmans, area wineries and farm markets team together to present a very classy affair.
There are also 3 nights of Demolotion Derbies, Figure 8 Racing, the annual Parade,
Back-Porch and Entertainment Alley entertainment and so much more.
Don’t miss this annual tradition!
Please use this guide as your starting point to plan your fair visits. Make the
Wayne County Fair YOUR annual summer tradition and experience the magic!

NEWTHIS YEAR!
Robert Bradley’s
Step back in time to the mid 1800s, when the Wild West was really wild,
and gun-fighting was a survival skill needed for the law-abiding cowboys
and outlaws alike. One of the country’s only authentic Wild West gunfight shows.
The Apache Kid had been fighting the law and dying in the streets of Ghost Town
in the Sky for over 40 years. Now Bradley and his gang have dusted off
their saddles and are hitting the trail, bringing their action-packed,
exciting shows to the 2011 Wayne County Fair! After the Gunfights,
meet the“Apache Kid”and his band of renegade outlaws as well as the men who
made them walk the line. They will be available for autographs and photographs.
Two showtimes each day!

Showmanship is an important part of the fair’s
agricultural events. They’re held in the newLivestock Barn
and arena, dedicated last year to honor the memory
of former Board of Director, Don Hulett.
You can give honor to someone special in your life…
or showsupport for the Fair yourself by purchasing a brick
which is placed in a special spot on the fairgrounds for all to see.
Donations are always greatly needed and appreciated
to help pay for this important building
and the general upkeep of the Fair.
