Unit 2 - Specifications
The unit is manufactured to meet: • API specification 4F third edition (Title: Specification for Drilling and Well Servicing Structures) • API Specification 8C fourth edition (Title: Specification for Drilling and Production Hoisting Equipment) • 220,000# pulling capacity in 60 foot increments and 600,000# jacking capacity in 5 foot increments • Rack Back Towers capable of holding up to 200 joints (6,200’) of 3-1/2” IF drill pipe, as well as smaller tubulars • By removing one row of drill pipe it is capable of holding 5 x 6-1/2” OD drill collars on each side
