What is a Site Web?

A website is a collection of web pages related to the Internet domain or subdomain on the World Wide Web on the Internet. A web page is an HTML / XHTML is usually accessible via HTTP protocol Internet.

On August 6, 1991 was born the World Wide Web, when physicist 36, Tim Berners-Lee published the first website in the world. Berners-Lee worked at CERN research center.
The address of the first page was http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html. It was public on April 20, 1993, with the release of the Mosaic browser, entered the public domain.

Site weblog (or blog or digital diary): Site used to register online readings or to post online content with the date the day of admission, but also may include discussion forums. Examples: Blogger, LiveJournal, WordPress. Virtual Community Site: Site or social site where people with similar interests communicate with each other, usually by chat or forums or simple messages. Example: MySpace, Facebook, Hi5, Orkut, Habbo, Multiply, Quepasa.

Site search: A site that provides general information and is designed as input or search for other sites. A pure example is Google, and the best known type of search engine is Yahoo!.

The site web are a great synonym of Internet. Thanks to the web, a great quantity of people can go up content to the web. This is incredible something and it was unthinkable something millions of people through the world can have gone up behind since at the present time content to Internet or the web for some years. The site web are media that it allow the user that enters in the same ones, to communicate and it can also put their opinion in a comment with other people.
