Five couples travel to Le Meriden Resort, Akwa Ibom, in Nigeria for a magical weekend vacation. But love, with a good mix of intrigue and action, conspired to up the ante for each of them

OVER BLACK. Soft PIANO MUSIC PLAYS. FEMALE VOICE (V.O.) 'I do.' Two words. Simple words ... FADE TO: INT. PIANO BAR - DAY (ESTABLISHING) TIGHT ON fingers of the pianist as he POUNDS SOFTLY on the black and white bars. OVER THE SHOULDER of the SPEAKER (remains unidentified), facing a small crowd of smiling and emotion-laden faces. We're in a wedding reception. SPEAKER ... but strong enough to seal the covenant of 'till death do us part' in timeless togetherness. TIGHT ON SHERIFAH LAWSON Pretty, sophisticated, in immaculate bridal wear, listening with rapture. SPEAKER (CONT'D) You've said those words today. 'I do.' And now you're man and wife. Sherifah chuckles happily, a tear rolls down her cheek. SPEAKER (CONT'D) May you never stray from passionate love and lifelong intimacy. Sherifah's phone VIBRATES LOUDLY. Visibly embarrassed, she wears earphones. The speech continues in the background. SHERIFAH (sotto) This is a wrong time to UNIDENTIFIED CALLER (V.O.) Hello Sherifah. Shock on her face. She cocks her head right and left. UNIDENTIFIED CALLER (V.O.) (CONT'D) Don't bother. You won't find me.

SHERIFAH This is my special day. UNIDENTIFIED CALLER (V.O.) I know. Never seen you this beautiful. SHERIFAH Don't ruin it for me. Please. UNIDENTIFIED CALLER (V.O.) It's out of my hands. Three O Clock, man in buba and shokoto. Sherifah turns to her right. Her POV, MAN IN BUBA & SHOKOTO is watching the speaker like any other guest. UNIDENTIFIED CALLER (V.O.) (CONT'D) First row, man in glasses. His wife. ON BESPECTACLED MAN & WIFE in first row. UNIDENTIFIED CALLER (V.O.) (CONT'D) Last behind you, two men on each end. ON the TWO MEN mentioned. APPLAUSE as Speaker finishes. SOFT MUSIC plays, guests rise to dance. Sherifah remains seated. SHERIFAH Please don't do this. From Sherifah's POV, the PEOPLE identified, now wearing stern looks, are watching her. UNIDENTIFIED CALLER I'm sorry Sherifah. You've rolled the dice. Bespectacled Man and his Wife stride towards Sherifah purposefully. She sighs despondently. CUT TO BLACK: SCREEN CAPTION: One year ago. INT. MR. & MRS. JOSEPH'S HOUSE - BEDROOM - MORNING SEGUN JOSEPH, 31, and his wife, BECKMA, 26, are in bed, back to back, under thick bed covers. Segun pulls more of the duvet to him, partly exposing Beckma.

Beckma aggressively reaches behind her and draws the covers off Segun totally. Segun leers at Beckma angrily, grabs a handful of the covers, ready to yank it. Beckma lets go. Segun pulls and topples over to the ground with a THUD. Eyes closed, Beckma smirks. Segun rises with a menacing look. CUT TO: INT. BATHROOM - DAY The bathtub is filled with bubbly soap water. Beckma dips a foot in the bath, smiles and slides into the tub. TIGHT ON Segun's hand turning the faucet towards red. CUT TO: INT. OUTSIDE BATHROOM - CONTINUOUS Segun emerges from the bathroom, mischievous-faced. Suddenly, Beckma's PAINED SCREAM from the bathroom ECHOES out. Segun smiles and saunters away, as steam emerges from the bathroom. CUT TO: INT. KITCHEN - LATER Beckma is beautifully dressed for the day, having an English breakfast. Segun strides in, dressed for work, smiling to himself & holding a newspaper. He sits, pours himself tea and opens the paper to read as he takes a long sip. Suddenly, Segun SPITS OUT the contents from his mouth. He opens the sugar pot - ground pepper is inside - and rushes to the sink, rinsing his mouth. Beckma smiles as she calmly continues eating.

INT. BECKMA'S JEEP - LATER Beckma starts the engine and shifts the gear to reverse. The vehicle moves unsteadily. Beckma stops the engine and jumps down. EXT. OUTSIDE BECKMA'S JEEP - DAY Beckma stares with horror at her back tire - It's been punctured. A CAR HORN HONKS and Beckma turns towards the sound. Segun, in his Jeep, waves at Beckma with a triumphant grin and drives out of the compound. Beckma heaves lividly. INT. PASTOR'S OFFICE - DAY ELDERLY PASTOR, (60), is seated, reading a fat book. SOUND OF CARS SCREECHING from outside draws Pastor's attention. Pastor goes to window, and from his POV, Beckma and Segun's Jeeps park roughly, both jump down, and screaming and shouting at one another (AD-LIB) approach the entrance. PASTOR Not this morning! Wears fearful look and closes eyes in fervent supplication. PASTOR (CONT'D) (praying) I confess, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, though I walk through the furnace and the flood, you are with me ... CUT TO: INT. PASTOR'S OFFICE - MOMENTS LATER Pastor's DOOR BURSTS OPEN, and Segun and Beckma storm in together. PASTOR (nervous grin) Mister and Mrs. Joseph, how are you today? Simultaneously, the couple report each other (AD-LIB).

Pastor reaches for a pack of analgesics and empties the capsules into his mouth. Segun and Beckma are screaming at each other now (AD-LIB). Pastor shakes his head, struggling not to cry. PASTOR (CONT'D) WHY DID YOU GET MARRIED? Immediate silence. Pastor cringes with embarrassment. Why? SEGUN

Segun turns to Beckma with a tender look. SEGUN (CONT'D) The Meridien. I saw her in the Lobby. She had me at first sight. BECKMA Me too. We saw each other at the same time. Like in the movies. The couple chuckles. SEGUN Even before I said a word to her I knew I was making eye contact with my soulmate. Awww. The couple embrace and kiss, and Pastor rolls his eyes. PASTOR (sotto; sarcastic) Ehn, go back to Meridien and find what you lost. Segun suddenly extracts from the kiss. SEGUN Go back to the Meridien? PASTOR No em, what I meant is SEGUN Excellent! PASTOR (surprised) BECKMA

Hm? Segun turns excitedly to Beckma. SEGUN The magic we had when we met, maybe we can find it again. BECKMA At the hotel? SEGUN Think about it. We've been married two years and our best memories are those first three days. Let's go back. Let's find what we lost. Beat, Beckma considers visibly, and then smiles fondly. Segun smiles and happily pumps bemused Pastor's hands. SEGUN (CONT'D) You're always a blessing sir. Segun and Beckma happily depart. Pastor starts a popular praise song, hands raised to Heaven. INT. IRIS HOSPITAL - OUTSIDE ELEVATOR - DAY LOW ANGLE SHOT of Elevator door. It slides open and the well- heeled feet of staff pour out. The shiny loafers and dress shoes stride out first, and now the feet of UDUAK JIMMY, (30), in high top sneakers, emerges. We follow her from behind, dressed in white overalls, as she approaches a door marked 'Medical Director.' She opens the door. INT. IRIS HOSPITAL - MEDICAL DIRECTOR'S OFFICE - CONTINUOUS The MEDICAL DIRECTOR, (50), scholarly-type, is typing. Uduak, pretty but plain, enters. UDUAK Morning Ma. Medical Director sits back and sighs. MEDICAL DIRECTOR How can you help me Uduak?

UDUAK He's waited five years for this. He'll resign. MEDICAL DIRECTOR We can't have that. UDUAK No madam, we can't. INT. IRIS HOSPITAL - RECEPTION - DAY (MONTAGE SEQUENCE) PAN ACROSS several beautiful women in the seating area. UDUAK (V.O.) Human Resources confirms that traffic of women to this hospital tripled since he joined us. A MIDDLE-AGED WOMAN leans to a younger one. MIDDLE-AGED WOMAN Whoever said the beautiful ones are not yet born -(motions to entrance) They never saw that man. DR. MARK IHIDERO, (35), an Adonis, marches in, and the women SIGH LOUDLY in choreographed togetherness. CUT TO: INT. IRIS HOSPITAL - PRIVATE WARD - DAY (MONTAGE CONTINUES) Dr. Mark finishes check-up on a HOT LADY. DR. MARK Nothing to worry about. You're in mint condition. HOT LADY Which is why I need you to be creative. You're going to give me a diagnosis that will get me admitted. I need the therapy of seeing your face dusk and dawn, day in and day out, for the next seven days. (beat) If you refuse, there's a lot I can do to bring me back. Either way, it's a win-win for me. DR. MARK Do I look like I'm complaining? Both smile.

INT. IRIS HOSPITAL - FEMALE WARD - DAY (MONTAGE CONTINUES) Patients in bed apply cosmetics, set their hair, open cleavage areas and thighs and assume sexy positions. UDUAK (V.O.) Already, the female ward is perking up for his morning rounds. MONTAGE OVER. INT. IRIS HOSPITAL - MEDICAL DIRECTOR'S OFFICE - DAY Uduak is still standing before Director. UDUAK He's the reason we're never in the red but I don't see us stopping him from dropping the letter. MEDICAL DIRECTOR Which is why we need you. UDUAK Due respects madam Director, I'm just his friend. Not his free will. MEDICAL DIRECTOR Dr. Mark quotes you chapter and verse. You're like his religion. UDUAK (laugh) No ma. Still just his friend. MEDICAL DIRECTOR All I need you to do is deliver our consolation package to him. Uduak wears quizzical look. CUT TO: INT. IRIS HOSPITAL - DR. MARK'S OFFICE - DAY TIGHT ON a Meridien-branded manila envelope in Mark's hand. DR. MARK (O.C.) All-expenses-paid weekend in the Executive Suite of the Meridien. Drops the package on the table, and CAM REVEALS Mark and Uduak, seated across each other. DR. MARK (CONT'D)

No. Five years, I gave every muscle for this goal and they're bribing me to look the other way. Won't do it. (long beat) Should I do it? UDUAK What do you want? DR. MARK To be Chief Medical Officer. UDUAK It's gone for another three years. Mark studies the package for a few moments and sighs. DR. MARK If I'm staying, I'm staying for you. UDUAK What you tell your lady patients every morning. DR. MARK (mischievous wink) I don't tell them I love them. UDUAK (laughing; rising) Abegi. Dr. Mark rises quickly and blocks Uduak. DR. MARK Come here. I tell you you're the pea in my pod everyday and you never once say you love me back. UDUAK Mark, commot for my front before I DR. MARK Say it now or I tickle you. Makes to tickle Uduak and she holds him off. UDUAK (laughing) Don't. DR. MARK Oya, talk am. (beat) Talk am. Beat, Uduak, face downwards, sighs.

UDUAK (tenderly) I love you. I win. DR. MARK

Embraces Uduak and Kisses her on the forehead. DR. MARK (CONT'D) (glances at watch) Alright, breakfast. Mark exits, and Uduak, PANTING SOFTLY, sits, and places a hand over her heart. EXT. GOLF COURSE - DAY CLOSE ON Blackberry phone screen as the fingers of MIKE IWANG, (35), as MYSTERIO. INSERT: MYSTERIO: Confirmed ur booking? CASPER: Yh baby. MYSTERIO: Kk. CASPER: 1 mo day & finally we see. MOSES' FATHER (O.S.) A weekend at the Meridien. REVEAL Mike Iwang, (35), quickly looks up from the phone at his FATHER, (65), about to put a ball. Father's young caddy is here too. (DIALOGUE IN NATIVE TONGUE - SUBTITLED) MOSES IWANG Yes dad. To prepare for my Monday morning boardroom speech. MOSES' FATHER What's wrong with your study? MOSES IWANG That's what's wrong. It's just a study. Moses' Father puts the ball and faces Moses. MOSES' FATHER No problem. Your stay will only set the books back by about a million naira.

MOSES IWANG Small reward for keeping the books black by several millions this quarter. Moses' Father sighs. MOSES' FATHER Be in early on Monday. (to caddy) My phone. Moses' Father strolls away, speaking into the phone (in English) and his caddy following with the bag of clubs. Moses watches Father go, and smiling, types into his phone. INSERT: MYSTERIO: Can't wait (smiley). CAM ZOOMS INTO 'Casper's column' on phone screen. CUT TO: EXT. SHOPPING MALL - DAY PULL OUT from BB phone screen as CASPER'S fingers type. INSERT: CASPER: lol. Me too (smiley). REVEAL Casper - It's Sherifah Lawson! She's dressed in gorgeous casuals, seated alone on a bench, surrounded by several shopping bags. She finishes typing, chucks her phone in her gigantic hand-bag, picks her bags and sashays away. UNIDENTIFIED SPEAKER *1 (V.O.) Sherifah Lawson. She easily stands out as she catwalks down the hall. INT. SHERIFAH'S BEDROOM - DAY This room is a balance of sophistication and homely. On the bed is an open bag, and in SHORT CUTS, Sherifah packs excellently for a trip, not wasting any space in the bag. UNIDENTIFIED SPEAKER *1 (V.O.)

Her destination this weekend, the Meridien Resort in Akwa Ibom. For her new mark. CLOSE ON City People magazine on the bed with Moses Iwang and his Father on the cover with the caption 'Iwang's son, new MD of the conglomerate.' UNIDENTIFIED SPEAKER *1 (V.O.) (CONT'D) Moses Iwang. EXT. AKWA IBOM AIRPORT - DAY (ESTABLISHING) Travellers pour out of the airport. UNIDENTIFIED SPEAKER *1 (V.O.) We've lost her a dozen times over ten years. You must succeed where we've failed. Sherifah emerges, dressed in different clothes, with her handbag and the bag we earlier saw. UNIDENTIFIED SPEAKER *1 (V.O.) (CONT'D) She's smart, she's sly, she's very slick. Sherifah surveys the area. From her POV, a convoy waits ahead. Quickly, Sherifah joins a trio of Mobile Policemen walking out. SHERIFAH Hello officers. The men happily salute her, apparently smitten by her. Sherifah reaches the convoy just as the police officers turn off to another direction. POLICE OFFICER *1 Have a nice trip madam. SHERIFAH (casually; to police) Be early on Monday. (to convoy) Where's the pilot? The PILOT DRIVER jumps to where she is. PILOT DRIVER Oh, sorry madam. Didn't know -SHERIFAH Straight to the resort.

PILOT DRIVER Hotel? But your father said -SHERIFAH I've been airborne for fifty minutes and I'm really tired. Are we going to do this now? PILOT DRIVER Sorry ma. The Meridien resort? Yes. SHERIFAH

Quickly, the door is opened for Sherifah and she steps in. EXT./ INT. ROAD/ CONVOY JEEP (MOVING) - CONTINUOUS Sherifah is looking out the window, and through her POV, the great sights of Akwa Ibom zoom past. UNIDENTIFIED SPEAKER *1 (V.O.) You're not to stop her from stealing the plan. You're to catch her in the act -- red-handed. That's where we come in. EXT. LE MERIDIEN RESORT - DAY (ESTABLISHING)

The convoy drives through the gates and down the stretch leading to the entrance. UNIDENTIFIED SPEAKER *1 (V.O.) And be careful. EXT. LE MERIDIEN RESORT - ENTRANCE - DAY The convoy parks, Sherifah's door is opened and she alights. One of the security makes to take her luggage but she hands it to a bell boy and catwalks towards the entrance. SHERIFAH Go home immediately. Send Daddy my regards. Sherifah enters. Pilot Driver's phone rings. PILOT DRIVER (into phone)

Yes sir!/ Yes we've picked her but she - / Sir?/ No we've picked her. She's slim, fair (shock) What? CUT TO: EXT. AKWA IBOM AIRPORT - DAY A big, dark-skinned, angry-faced lady is waiting with three police security around her, holding her luggage. EXT. LE MERIDIEN RESORT - ENTRANCE - DAY Pilot, shock-faced, is looking towards the entrance. PILOT DRIVER (into phone) Then who - / Alright sir. Pilot signals to the rest & hurries to his vehicle. PILOT DRIVER (CONT'D) On my way sir. Very sorry sir. It's the devil's work sir. INT. LE MERIDIEN RESORT - LOBBY - DAY Sherifah sashays to the Front Desk. MAHADI BELLO, 35, sexy and menacing, engaged in a phone conversation, walks down from the opposite direction. UNIDENTIFIED SPEAKER *1 (V.O.) Your experience and expertise regardless ... OGECHI, (26), pretty but plain, carrying a large rucksack, rushes past Sherifah, SMACK into Mahadi. Ogechi stumbles backward. In a quick reflex, Mahadi is behind Ogechi, catching her from falling. Sherifah sees this and immediately slits an eye at the save. OGECHI (breathless) Thank you. Mahadi stands Ogechi properly, turns to leave and makes eye contact with Sherifah.

Beat. They nod at each other politely, Mahadi places his phone back to his ear as he walks past. MAHADI You were saying ... UNIDENTIFIED SPEAKER *1 (V.O.) (from Mahadi's phone) With Sherifah Lawson, you can't be too careful. Mahadi cuts the line. Sherifah, already smiling with the Front Desk Lady, turns to observe Mahadi swagger away. INT. LE MERIDIEN RESORT - LOBBY AREA - CONTINUOUS Ogechi hurries through the beautiful lobby. INT. LE MERIDIEN RESORT - ELEVATOR - CONTINUOUS Ogechi looks at her watch nervously, fidgeting with worry. INT. LE MERIDIEN RESORT - HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS Ogechi runs down the carpeted hallway. INT. HOUSEKEEPING - DAY The housekeeping team change into their uniforms and load trolleys. Pretty and voluptuous ELOHO, (26), a housekeeper, keeps glancing at the entrance as she loads her trolley. The stern-faced HOUSEKEEPING HEAD, (50's), strolls to Eloho. HOUSEKEEPING HEAD Eloho! ELOHO Ten minutes sir. She just called. HOUSEKEEPING HEAD That's what you said ten minutes ago. You said she was in the lobby. ELOHO Yes, she um -- she ran into traffic.

HOUSEKEEPING HEAD Inside the building? ELOHO Human traffic. Ogechi BURSTS IN. OGECHI (out of breath) Sorry sir but I have a good reason. ELOHO (rapid-fire) Human traffic in the lobby. OGECHI That's it sir. Just reception here oh and so many people HOUSEKEEPING HEAD Five minutes. He storms away and Uduak quickly begins to change. OGECHI Eloho, thanks. ELOHO Dis girl! Day I go show you. OGECHI No vex. Ogechi drops a novel on a table, continues changing. OGECHI (CONT'D) Had to finish it. I no know say time don go. (excited gasp) Eloho! You gasts to read am! ELOHO Prince Charming, Damsel in Distress, Happily ever after? (hisses) Mills and Boon never lie finish? OGECHI These things happen. Eloho scowls at Ogechi. OGECHI (CONT'D) They'll happen for me. ELOHO

Darling, you have bills to pay and a career to plan for. Don't waste your faith on fairy tales. Ogechi chuckles. OGECHI One day na one day. (beat) You go see. INT. LE MERIDIEN - LOBBY - DAY (MONTAGE BEGINS - MUSIC OVER) The glass doors slide open and Moses Iwang enters. CUT TO: INT. LE MERIDIEN - LOBBY - DAY (MONTAGE) From Moses' POV, we take in the expansive lobby. INT. HONEYMOON SUITE - LIVING ROOM - DAY (MONTAGE CONTINUES) Segun Joseph surveys the beautiful space with a smile. CUT TO: INT. HONEYMOON SUITE - BATHROOM - DAY (MONTAGE CONTINUES) Lights come on, Beckma enters. From her POV, we survey the exquisite bathroom. INT. HONEYMOON SUITE - LIVING ROOM - DAY (MONTAGE CONTINUES) Segun smiles at the immense bed and jumps unto it. INT. POOL SIDE ROOM - DAY (MONTAGE CONTINUES) Dr. Mark is at the window, smiling at the sight of sexy girls swimming. EXT. CHALET - DAY - (MONTAGE CONTINUES) The resort transport drives to a stop. Sherifah emerges, takes off sunglasses & takes in the chalet.

INT. CHALET - KITCHEN - DAY (MONTAGE CONTINUES) Sherifah opens the refrigerator and takes out a drink. INT. HOTEL ROOM - DAY - (MONTAGE CONTINUES) Mahadi emerges from the bathroom, wet and swathed in a towel. He walks to the large curtains and pulls it apart revealing a view of greens just outside the balcony of the room. With SHOT ON his back, we PULL OUT to a LONG SHOT. END OF MONTAGE. INT. MOSES'S IWANG'S CHALET - LIVING ROOM - LATER - DAY Moses, in casual wear, is typing on his BB. INSERT: MYSTERIO: Mysterio 2 Casper. Do u read me? CASPER: lol. I read you. INT. LOBBY BAR - SAME TIME Sherifah is on a table, typing into her phone with her hands-free earpiece in her ears. INTERCUT PHONE TEXT-MESSAGE DIALOGUE. INSERT: MYSTERIO: U in? CASPER: Yh. U? MYSTERIO: I'm in. CASPER: Chalet 7. MYSTERIO: (smiley). ten mins. CASPER: (smiley). Sherifah switches to home screen and dials client 107. SHERIFAH (sotto; into phone) I'm here. Yes he's in but this may be slower than planned. (beat) Instinct tells me I'm being tailed.

REVEAL Sherifah's POV, Mahadi is three tables away, drinking. SHERIFAH (CONT'D) Already handling it. Just need to be sure. Ends call, pulls out the ear-piece and puts phone to her ear. CUT TO: INT. LOBBY BAR - CONTINUOUS Mahadi is drinking quietly. Sherifah sashays past, speaking fairly loudly. SHERIFAH On my way now. Chalet Seven. Today's all about us. Mahadi continues drinking calmly. EXT. SHERIFAH'S CHALET - FRONTAGE - DAY Ogechi is at the door with her cleaning trolley. She RINGS the BELL. OGECHI Good-day. Housecleaning. No answer. She RINGS again. OGECHI (CONT'D) (louder) Housecleaning. Beat. Ogechi opens the door with her master lock and enters. INT. LOBBY - FRONT DESK - DAY Mahadi is with the FRONT DESK MANAGER. FRONT DESK MANAGER The chalets? The other side of the golf course. I'll have the concierge drive you there. MAHADI It's fine. Just knowing the area. Mahadi leaves.

Beat. Sherifah peers out from behind a large flower vase where she's seated - apparently heard the conversation. SHERIFAH (sighs; sotto) Change of plan. She types into her phone. INT. SHERIFAH'S CHALET - DAY (SERIES OF SHOTS) BATHROOM: Ogechi places fresh toiletries here. LIVING ROOM: She places complimentary sweets on the table. BEDROOM Ogechi sprays. She finishes, turns to leave and winces suddenly as her eye catches a sight. Looks over her shoulder cautiously, and then smiling, moves towards he bed. INT. LOBBY - CENTRAL LOUNGE - DAY Mike Iwang is seated, reading a magazine. His PHONE VIBRATES. INSERT: CASPER: lover boy, change of plan. MYSTERIO: Ur kiddin me. CASPER: let's meet later. Evening. MYSTERIO: cold feet? CASPER: long story. MYSTERIO: tell me when i get thr. CASPER: don't come nw. Evening. Pls. MYSTERIO: here cos of you. what will i be doing? A concierge arrives. CONCIERGE Sir, the car to the chalet is here.

Moses visibly ponders. He suddenly types. MYSTERIO: no swt heart. On my way. Moses rises. Let's go. INT. LOBBY - DAY Sherifah reads the message and visibly contemplates. INT. SHERIFAH'S CHALET - BEDROOM - DAY Ogechi is in front of the mirror with a beautiful red dress -Sherifa's -- pressed against her body. She strikes various poses with the dress. Then, she looks towards the door, back at the mirror, takes a deep breath, hesitates, and quickly begins to wear it. EXT. SHERIFAH'S CHALET - SAME TIME Moses gets out of the car, and marches to the door, smiling. INT. SHERIFAH'S CHALET - BEDROOM - SAME TIME Ogechi beams at how beautiful she is in the dress. She raises her hands -- waltz-style -- and twirls around. She waltz's out of the room. INT. SHERIFAH'S CHALET - LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS Ogechi spins happily into here. Suddenly she freezes - shocked. Moses is here, smiling ear-to-ear. MOSES IWANG Door was open. OGECHI I am so sorry, I MOSES IWANG MOSES IWANG

Shh. Don't spoil my welcome dance. Just keep spinning. OGECHI (entering) I have to leave. MOSES IWANG (following) Wait. CUT TO: INT. MARK'S OFFICE - SAME TIME Uduak is looking through a file as she speaks into the phone. UDUAK JIMMY Abegy. How's it going? INTERCUT PHONE SEQUENCE. DR. MARK Perfect first day. UDUAK JIMMY What's that? DR. MARK I could tell you but the taste of the new signature breakfast is in the eating. Nine O clock. UDUAK JIMMY (sighs) I'll be there. DR. MARK Good night my love. Uduak cuts the line, ponders for some moments and continues working. EXT. LOCAL AREA JETTY - NIGHT Ogechi and Moses are still dancing. The music stops, and slowly, they part. Fast music starts.

OGECHI You like fish pepper soup? Moses smiles. CUT TO: EXT. NWANIBA VILLAGE - NIGHT Just outside the back gate of the hotel, Nwaniba wood and ogoro market throbs with life. All over, native fish barbecue is being prepared, villagers dance in happy unison to native music blaring from an ancient music system, diners feast hungrily and friends argue and converse energetically. Moses and Ogechi are in a makeshift stand having pepper soup. MOSES IWANG How in the world does a girl like you find a place like this? Ogechi smiles. They eat and watch the villagers in revelry. The FISH SELLER raises a keg, offering Ogechi and Moses its contents. MOSES IWANG (CONT'D) What's that? OGECHI Ogogoro. This place, Nwaniba village, is famous for its wood and ogogoro. MOSES IWANG So this is good stuff? (beckons to seller) I'll have some. Fish Seller fills a small cup for Moses. Moses raises the cup to Ogechi in toast and downs it. His POV, everything blurs - he sees Ogechi laughing heartily, other customers laughing and the Fish Seller laughing. The SOUND of the MUSIC thickens. FADE TO BLACK. INT. MAHADI'S ROOM - MORNING

Mahadi, sipping from a mug of steaming beverage, strolls to the curtains and draws it apart. Light enters. A sight catches his eye, he observes for some moments with an impressed look. CUT TO: EXT. LAWN OUTSIDE GROUND FLOOR ROOMS - CONTINUOUS Sherifah is on the greens, in sexy exercise-gear, practicing Tai-Chi. Moments later, Mahadi emerges with his drink, also in exercise gear accentuating his physique. Watches Sherifah for a few moments. Tai Chi. Sherifah stops and faces him. You like? MAHADI I'm a meat and potatoes guy. If we're doing something, we're doing something. Tai-Chi is just foreplay. SHERIFAH (school girl sexy) Would you like to do the real thing? With me? MAHADI I'd be rude to say no. Sherifah stretches and Mahadi drops his drink in his balcony. Both of them stretch and flex, readying for combat. MAHADI (CONT'D) Just sparring. SHERIFAH Of course. Sherifah attacks with a series of blows and chops and Mahadi parries and swerves excellently. SHERIFAH (CONT'D) Nice. Mahadi smiles. They stroll back to initial positions. Sherifah attacks again with more focus and ferocity. She hits him in the face. MAHADI First blood. Congratulations. She smiles. He attacks, and she parries, ducks and swerves. Again, she makes contact with his solar plexus. MAHADI (CONT'D) What kind of prospector fights like a sensei? SHERIFAH What kind of warrior makes conversation in combat? She attacks but he weaves and throws her to the ground. SHERIFAH (CONT'D) What style? MAHADI The one that makes you fall for me. She smiles and rises, ready to go. They enter freestyle combat, the role of attack and defense alternating between the two of them. They sweat, grunt, blow and parry. Eventually, they grab each other in a lock with only one free hand each. Mahadi's free hand is close to Sherifah's neck. MAHADI (CONT'D) I have your oxygen. Uses a finger to warningly stroke her neck. SHERIFAH

I have your posterity. REVEAL Sherifah's free hand in a fist close to Mahadi's crotch. Both warriors smile and disengage. MAHADI A rematch some other time. SHERIFAH You took the words out of my mouth. Both take a bow and move towards their balconies. INT. THE RISING SUN RESTAURANT - LATER Guests are having breakfast. Dr. Mark enters, bright and chirpy. He sees Beckma at the buffet and strides purposefully towards her. Beckma beams at the sight of Mark. DR. MARK Good morning. BECKMA Good morning. DR. MARK Slept well? BECKMA Very well. You? DR. MARK Best I had in ages. BECKMA You look it. DR. MARK And all cos I was dreaming of y SEGUN JOSEPH (O.C.) Baby you should try the waffles. Segun ENTERS SHOT and holds Beckma lovingly. SEGUN JOSEPH (CONT'D) Its divine. BECKMA Really? Let me judge for myself.

Beckma kisses Segun on the lips. BECKMA (CONT'D) Hmm, it is great. More. Chuckling, the couple kiss again. Mark is visibly embarrassed - he ahems. BECKMA (CONT'D) Oh. Segun, Mark's an old buddy. Mark winces. BECKMA (CONT'D) Ran into him yesterday. SEGUN JOSEPH How you doing Mark? Segun Joseph. Pleasure. They shake hands. BECKMA Segun, on the other hand is the most amazing man in my life. Segun 'awwws' and saying sweet nothings to one another in sotto, the couple kiss passionately. Mark walks away, clearly disgusted. INT. SHERIFAH'S ROOM - MORNING Sherifah and Ogechi are seated. Uduak appears, beat, and suddenly Uduak and Beckma cry happily, embrace and exchange pleasantries (AD-LIB). BECKMA (to Uduak) What are you doing here? Wait! (realization; to Mark) Don't tell me Grinning, Mark pulls a surprise-faced Uduak into his arms. DR. MARK Yep. Uduak is my wife. Shocked, Uduak makes to speak and Mark kisses her. BECKMA (embracing Uduak) So happy for you. Over Beckma's shoulder, Uduak wears a stunned, puzzled look and Mark silently pleads that she play along. CUT TO: INT. RISING SUN RESTAURANT - LATER Mark and Uduak are seated with Segun and Beckma. SEGUN JOSEPH Married how many years now? UDUAK JIMMY (to Mark) How many years darling? DR. INT. SHERIFAH'S ROOM - DAY Sherifah, in sexy hiking gear and with a hands-free earphone on, packs picnic items into a rucksack bag. SHERIFAH (V.O.) I don't know who he's working for. CUT TO: INT. MAHADI'S ROOM - DAY Mahadi is setting up a high-level distance camera. SHERIFAH (V.O.) Or how good he is. INT. SHERIFAH'S ROOM - SAME TIME Sherifah puts a notebook laptop and recording device into the bag. SHERIFAH (V.O.) But I have to risk this chance. It may be the only one I have. INT. MOSES'S IWANG'S CHALET - LIVING ROOM - SAME TIME Moses moves around, and we ZOOM INTO the screen of his open notebook laptop - Sherifah's exact type. SHERIFAH (V.O.) Getting the G.I.G is the easy part. CLOSE ON LAPTOP SCREEN - a presentation chart with figures and diagrams over which is the large caption, G.I.G MODEL. SHERIFAH (V.O.) (CONT'D) But it will be password-protected. Moses sits before the system and activates shut down. INT. HOTEL HALLWAY - DAY Sherifah briskly walks down, rucksack behind her. SHERIFAH (V.O.) The real work is decoding it. So, considering that Mahadi will try to stop me ... As she passes Mahadi's door, she furtively sprays the handle.

SHERIFAH (CONT'D) I must take the chance of getting the data now. INT. IN FRONT OF TRANSITIONAL PORT - DAY Moses, carrying a guy-bag, stands. He's on the phone. MOSES IWANG Where's your room? I want to come see you. INT. STAFF CAFETERIA - DAY Ogechi and Eloho are seated together, having a meal, as Ogechi takes her call. INTERCUT PHONE SEQUENCE. OGECHI I'm not in the hotel today. It's my day off. MOSES IWANG You work in the hotel? Ogechi scowls angrily at herself. OGECHI No. Day off to ... attend to stuff. Will be back in the night. MOSES IWANG What time are we hooking up? Mahadi turns to the HEAD OF SECURITY as he approaches fast. MAHADI Yes please. Room 122? HEAD, SECURITY

MAHADI Yes, there a problem? HEAD, SECURITY Please come with me. Mahadi regretfully looks over his shoulder towards the direction Sherifah and Moses went through. CUT TO: EXT. OUTSIDE LOBBY - DAY Sherifah and Moses wait quietly. Moments later, a staff van with tinted windows' approaches. Sherifah furtively drops a thumb pin. INT. HALLWAY - OUTSIDE MAHADI'S ROOM - DAY Two security officials and a fireman are by Mahadi's door. The handle of the door has been sprayed with an extinguisher but is mildly smoking. Mahadi and the Head, Security, quickly arrive. HEAD, SECURITY Just the handle. MAHADI (puzzled) Fire? HEAD, SECURITY Heavy smoke. We haven't gauged more danger but we have to be careful. Mahadi opens the door and the three men enter. Mahadi sniffs the smoke, grimaces angrily and races away. EXT. OUTSIDE LOBBY - DAY The van pulls away with Sherifah and Moses in the back seat.

It drives over the thumb pin. Sherifah smiles. EXT. POOL BAR BALCONY - DAY Beckma stares wistfully out into the open. Segun ENTERS SHOT with drinks and Beckma takes a glass. They sip, moments pass. SEGUN JOSEPH You're lost. Beckma sighs. BECKMA When we were dating, you'd send me messages in funny languages. I'd browse the net and run around to translate them. When I did ... (smiles) They were always the same. SEGUN JOSEPH I love you. BECKMA Fridays, you'd pick me from work and we'd drive around looking for hotels we'd never been to spend the weekend. SEGUN JOSEPH We got some horrible ones. BECKMA The adventure always made it fun. And that's what we lost. Fun. SEGUN JOSEPH What brought this up? Mark and Uduak's stories? BECKMA They've been married one year longer than us and look at them. Segun is apparently displeased. BECKMA (CONT'D) Think I'll go to the spa. SEGUN JOSEPH Good. (leaving)

Think I need some space too. Beckma watches him leave. INT./ EXT. STAFF VAN/ RESORT DRIVEWAY - DAY Sherifah and Moses sit in silence. Moments pass, and suddenly, the car wobbles. SHERIFAH What's that? DRIVER (parking) I'll check. Sorry about this. Driver comes down, leaves the ENGINE and AC on, both of them, HUMMING. Moments later, the Driver opens the door and peers in. DRIVER (CONT'D) Sorry, punctured tire. SHERIFAH I don't want to step into the sun. MOSES IWANG (getting down) That's alright. If It's just you, your weight won't be a problem. Sherifah smiles gratefully as he shuts the door. Suddenly, Sherifah ZIPS open Moses' BAG, and takes out his laptop. EXT. OUTSIDE LOBBY - DAY Mahadi is getting into a private vehicle. MAHADI Thanks for the lift. The car moves. EXT. RESORT DRIVEWAY - DAY Moses watches the Driver change the tire. CUT TO: INT. STAFF VAN - SAME TIME

Sherifah's flash drive is inside Moses' laptop, and on the screen, a download is in progress. INT./ EXT. PRIVATE VEHICLE/ RESORT DRIVEWAY - DAY Mahadi anxiously watches as the car speeds. INT. STAFF VAN - DAY On Moses's screen, download is seventy percent complete. INT./ EXT. PRIVATE VEHICLE/ RESORT DRIVEWAY - DAY From Mahadi's POV, Moses and the Driver changing the tire come into view. MAHADI (to driver) There. INT. STAFF CAFETERIA - DAY On Moses screen, download is ninety-five percent complete. SHERIFAH (urgent) Come on, come on. He download bar increases to ninety-eight. Suddenly, the door opens - Mahadi peers in. Sherifah is momentarily startled but quickly, she smiles. SHERIFAH (CONT'D) Surprise. Pleasant? SHERIFAH Too stunned to decide. Moses opens the door of his side, enters and winces at the sight of his laptop. MOSES IWANG Is that -? (chuckles) No. Can't be. Moses reaches into his bag and brings out his laptop. MAHADI

MOSES IWANG (CONT'D) What a coincidence. MAHADI (smiling) Better confirm. Can't have you embarrass my lady friend. Moses chuckles and switches it on. IWANG HOLDINGS appears on the desk-top. MOSES IWANG Definitely mine. All chuckle, and Mahadi gets into the front seat as the Driver enters and restarts the engine. INT. LOBBY - BOUTIQUE - DAY Mark and Uduak enter. DR. MARK Pick what you need. (sits) I'll just make myself comfortable. The door swings open and Beckma enters. Love cats. All exchange pleasantries (AD-LIB). Shopping? UDUAK JIMMY Just need one or two things. BECKMA Oya (pulling Mark up) Out. It's girls day out. Beckma pushes Mark out and turns to Uduak. BECKMA (CONT'D) That man's jaw is dropping tonight. Let's start with the lingerie. EXT/INT. GOLF COURSE/ GOLF CART - DAY Segun and Moses are driven through the green expanse. BECKMA (CONT'D) BECKMA

MARINA CLUB HOUSE - EARLY EVENING The place is brimming with eaters and drinkers. Sherifah is seated, her earphones on. In her POV, Mahadi is inside, waiting at the bar, and facing her. They smile at each other like a new couple. SHERIFAH (into phone) Very close.

CUT TO: EXT. STAFF VAN - DAY Moses emerges from the van and shuts the door. ZOOM IN on the tinted window. CUT TO: INT. STAFF VAN - (FLASHBACK CONTINUES) Sherifah swiftly reaches into Moses' bag, takes out his laptop and inserts a flash drive. SHERIFAH (V.O.)

EXT. SWIMMING POOL - POOL SIDE - EARLY EVENING (ESTABLISHING) Loud HIP HOP MUSIC PLAYS and the pool is brimming with guests swimming and playing games. Most of the pool side tables are occupied and the bar is busy. Uduak and Beckma are at a table, dressed in robes and with their heads turbaned. UDUAK JIMMY (rising) Okay, two quick strokes. BECKMA I'll be cheering you. Uduak rises OUT OF SHOT, her robe and turban drops on the chair, and SPLASH, she's in the pool. BECKMA (CONT'D) Go Mrs. Phelps. Beckma laughs. Long beat, Mark arrives. DR. MARK (sitting) Where's my wife? BECKMA You. Why didn't you tell me about you and Uduak?

DR. MARK Seeing you after five years, I was too stunned to think. BECKMA Mark, I'm sorry for what I said. And I am very happy for you. (beat) You know, couldn't tell you this while you were dating but ... I always knew Uduak liked you. DR. MARK Nah, it started much later. BECKMA No. Women know these things. Uduak has been crazy about you since forever. Mark makes to speak but stops suddenly and stares, mouth agape. Mark's POV - SLOW MOTION: Uduak, half out of the pool, sashays up the stairs in a killer bikini. She shakes the water out of her hair and catwalks to the table. Mark rises with awe on his face. UDUAK JIMMY What? Like you don't see that every night. DR. MARK I'm dazed every night. BECKMA (mock rage) Annoyingly perfect. (rises) I'm out. Beckma leaves, and Uduak arrives. UDUAK JIMMY Hi. She self-consciously draws her robe around her as she sits. DR. MARK What are you covering up for? You're my wife. Uduak laughs, Mark sits. DR. MARK (CONT'D) Ten years we've been friends and you never once gave me a peek. (shy)

UDUAK JIMMY What would my motive have been? DR. MARK Helping a buddy get through a hard day. UDUAK JIMMY And what would have been in it for me? DR. MARK Show me again. See for yourself. UDUAK JIMMY You want to cross a line that could lose you a good friend. DR. MARK And you'd deserve it. Ten years and you kept this from me. Freaking hypocrite. Now, redeem yourself. Show me some skin. Jimmy playfully wraps the robe tighter around her. DR. MARK (CONT'D) Oh it's like that now. Mark rises, takes off his shirt. UDUAK JIMMY What are you doing? DR. MARK (taking off pants) Throwing you in the pool. UDUAK JIMMY (rising to run) You're not. DR. MARK Don't run now. Now in nice trunks, Mark chases a laughing Uduak. She throws the robe aside and dives into the pool. Mark follows. CUT TO: EXT. SWIMMING POOL - (MONTAGE BEGINS - MUSIC OVER) Five men in the pool, lead by Mark, are on one side, while five ladies, lead by Uduak, are on the other.

An umpire stands in the middle with a ball. The umpire BLOWS a WHISTLE and serves the ball. In a SERIES OF SHOTS, the game goes on, with Mark and Uduak having fun. Many times, she jumps on his back to prevent him from passing or receiving. The game turns to a battle of the sexes as both genders square off, splashing water and wrestling. The women win the war, splashing the men out of the pool. Finally, Uduak and the women perform a victory dance by the side of the pool. HONEYMOON SUITE - CONTINUOUS As Beckma enters, her POV, another romantic set-up. Segun, in a tux, rises. SEGUN JOSEPH I've been browsing the net to find words to describe how lucky you are to have me. BECKMA I already know how lucky I am to have you. I'm taking you out. Segun wears a look of pleasant surprise. BECKMA (CONT'D) (going in)

I'll go get dressed. Segun sits, a bit dazed. Beckma emerges immediately. BECKMA (CONT'D) We leave after this. She pounces on him and they smooch fiercely. INT. LOBBY - DAY Moses strolls across the lobby, and watching him from behind is Mahadi, who's also passing through. Sherifah approaches from the opposite direction. MAHADI Miss Sherifah. The bar is a mix of wild colours and energetic guests - everyone is dressed in smart casuals. Soft Akwa Ibom music plays in the background. Segun and Beckma are at a table, having drinks and conversation - IN MIME. Close to their table, Sherifah and Mahadi are seated, looking into the drink menu. Beckma smiles, and from her POV, Mark and Uduak approach, hand in hand, both of them stunning. The two couples exchange greetings (AD-LIB), and Mark and Uduak settle at the Joseph's table. BECKMA (mock sadness) Just one more day. I'm sad. UDUAK JIMMY Don't remind me. BECKMA (re: Segun) We should do this every year. Segun smiles and squeezes her. DR. MARK (sotto) I'm having a blast. Ogechi, in a beautiful dress, is seated in the boat, smiling, as Moses, standing behind her, brushes her hair. A bottle of champagne and two glasses, sparkling in the moonlight, are on the shaft. OGECHI Am I beautiful? MOSES IWANG You're beautiful. OGECHI Tell me how beautiful. Beat. MOSES IWANG Supremely.

OGECHI And you want me? Badly. How badly? Beat. MOSES IWANG With everything. My lips, my hands, every cell, organ and tissue. OGECHI (mischievous) You don't want me with your heart? MARK What's going on? Uduak rises, grabs her bag and makes to go past him. He draws her back. DR. MARK (CONT'D) Hey, Uduak. What? Crying, she storms to the table, grabs his phone, thrusts it in his hands and marches out. Mark reads Nancy's message. Hurries out. INT. HOTEL HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS Uduak is storming down, crying. Mark races up to her and pulls her back. DR. MARK Baby, wait! UDUAK JIMMY No Mark. That's what I've been doing since I laid eyes on you. Waiting! Waiting to be noticed, waiting to be seen, waiting ... to be loved. Mark wears surprised. UDUAK JIMMY (CONT'D) I'm not waiting anymore. It's not your fault. I'm the one who can't help being in love a man I can never have. She runs. Mark wears a devastated look. INT. CHALET - DAY Mahadi is with his UNIDENTIFIED CLIENT, who's backing us while three toughies in suits are also here. MAHADI This is a bad move.

Unidentified motions to one of his goons, and the indicated shows Mahadai a letter. Mahadi reads and looks up. MAHADI This isn't real. You had this made. UNIDENTIFIED CLIENT I can't wait anymore. She's too good. MAHADI I can get her. UNIDENTIFIED CLIENT Time is essential. I need her now. Mahadi winces. MAHADI You ... need her. Unidentified stands to speak. UNIDENTIFIED CLIENT Sherifah has been paid to steal precious company secrets from me thrice. That's a loss in billions. When I get her arrested on this charge, she will spend the rest of her life stealing for me. Mahadi lets out a long breath, calmly. MAHADI Makes sense. REVEAL Unidentified - MOSES' FATHER. Beckma is browsing through the lingerie. Mark enters. DR. MARK Hey. BECKMA (delighted) Hey. DR. MARK Uduak and I are not married. Beckma wears a clueless look. DR. Her phone rings - It's Mark.

She cuts the line. Moments pass, it rings again, she cuts it. OUTSIDE ON THE ROAD, from a short distance behind, Dr. Mark is on an okada, ZOOMING down at high speed. Mark keeps dialling as he peers right and left into taxis. The okada meets up with Uduak's taxi and seeing her inside, he BANGS on the BOOTH. Uduak is shocked, the driver is enraged. INTERCUT BETWEEN INT OF TAXI AND MARK ON BIKE. DR. MARK Get down, I need to talk to you. UDUAK JIMMY Do you want to kill yourself? DR. MARK (to Rider) Go to the front. Block it. The Rider complains in native language. Mark holds up a few one thousand naira notes, the rider grabs it and speeds ahead to the front of the taxi. It slows sharply and the taxi breaks sharply, hitting the bike slightly. The bike topples to the side and Mark and the Rider fall. Uduak rushes out of the taxi, part-enraged, part-concerned. Mark picks himself and the rider up, and the taxi driver, shouting in his language, makes to attack Mark but Uduak pleads with him (AD-LIB) and storms to Mark. UDUAK JIMMY Are you crazy, Mark? DR. MARK (panting) Yes. About you. With all my heart. UDUAK JIMMY No. The lines never stop coming. DR. MARK It's not a line Uduak. I was blind but I do love you. (beat) I love you.

Uduak studies his expression. UDUAK JIMMY With you, how can I ever be sure? DR. MARK You've known me for a decade. When did I ever try to get killed for a woman? Beat, a smile forms on her face, they kiss. INT. CHALET - DAY Moses, his dad, Mahadi, and the tough trio, silently wait. KNOCK on the DOOR. Everyone turns to Moses, Moses sighs, ambles to the door and opens it. Ogechi enters in uniform, and wears a surprised look to see everyone. MOSES' FATHER (surprised) Is that her? MAHADI That's not her. OGECHI (scared) Moses, what's going on here? MOSES IWANG Why are you dressed like this? OGECHI That's what I wanted to tell you. (beat) This is who I am. Moses is in shock. MOSES' FATHER The person you've been frolicking with .... a cleaner? Moses' Father bursts out into laughter. His goons follow. Ogechi stares into Moses' still-shocked face, and a tear rolls down her face. I'm sorry. OGECHI

KNOCK on the DOOR. One of the laughing goons opens it. Sherifah in disguise enters with the trolley - Mahadi's eyes slit in recognition. Suddenly, Sherifah pops the bottle open and smoke comes out. The room is clouded with smoke. There is loud coughing, crying out, and things CRASHING, THUMPING and SHATTERING. EXT. CHALET - DAY Sherifah emerges from the smoke-filled frontage, carrying the laptop computer. She stops suddenly at the sight of three other GOONS, waiting by a Jeep. CATCH HER! Sherifah darts away and the new trio chase her. Two catch up with her and try to subdue her but quickly, Sherifah displaces them. The third one catches strikes Sherifah with a blow from behind, and Sherifah falls, dropping the computer. The Guard moves in on her but suddenly, Mahadi appears and takes him out. Mahadi reaches for the laptop. Sherifah topples him over. They roll over the grass, struggling, eventually, Sherifah gets it and both scramble to their feet, facing each other. MAHADI (taking off jacket) You promised me a rematch. SHERIFAH I don't have the time. MAHADI I do. My goal is to take you in. SHERIFAH You don't know the full story. I'm not the bad guy here. Sounds of Moses' Father and the guards, nearing. MOSES' FATHER (O.S.)

SHERIFAH (CONT'D) You have to let me go. Mahadi stretches out a hand. MAHADI Give me that. (leaving) I'll give it back for the full story. Sherifah hesitates, visibly struggling. Sound of FOOTSTEPS running towards here. Tick-tock. MAHADI (CONT'D)

Quickly, Sherifah gives him. MAHADI (CONT'D) The airport. Thirty minutes. Sherifah races into a nearby car and speeds away. FADE TO: EXT. OUTSIDE CHALET - DAY Paramedics, hotel staff and security men have gathered. Moses Father is speaking with a policemen. Moses is seated with a Paramedic checking his eyes. The paramedic leaves, and from across the crowd, MOSES POV, Ogechi also seating with a paramedic. They make eye contact, and she's obviously guilty and near to tears. EXT. HELIPORT - DAY Moses, his dad and the three guards, march to a waiting helicopter. MOSES' FATHER This is the worst day of my life. (beat) I'm surrounded by useless people. And that girl, they'll use her to steal from me again. As for you (re: Moses) I don't know what to say. A cleaner. Of all the scum you shouldn't rub shoulders with, you choose a girl on the lowest food chain.

Moses stops, and his father keeps walking. Moses turns and marches in the opposite direction. His father realizes. MOSES' FATHER (CONT'D) Moses! (then, louder) Moses! Moses breaks into a run. INT. HOUSEKEEPING - DAY Ogechi is seated, crying, and Eloho comforts her. She is surrounded by a few of the other house-cleaners who are buzzing about what happened (AD-LIB). Moses BURSTS in. Silence. Hey. OGECHI (surprised) Hey. A hopeful smile grows on Eloho's face. MOSES IWANG Okay, so I came back for you but I'm sticking to my original story. I'm not in love with you but if you're not in my life right now, It's not special. Ogechi laughs and races into his hands. They kiss, applause. EXT. AIRPORT - DAY Mahadi, holding the laptop, is in a secluded area, waiting. His PHONE RINGS. MAHADI Where are you? EXT. ROAD - DAY MOSES IWANG

Sherifah is at the wheels of a fast car, speaking into her hands-free. INTERCUT PHONE SEQUENCE. Gone. SHERIFAH

Mahadi looks at the laptop, quickly turns it and from his POV, the hard-drive is out. MAHADI You took out the hard drive. SHERIFAH Couldn't take any chances. MAHADI I'll find you. SHERIFAH Your mission is over. What would be your motive? MAHADI Thrill of the chase. I've never lost a mark. SHERIFAH And what will you do with me if you catch me? MAHADI (smiles) Is your offer still up? Getting indecent with you. SHERIFAH (chuckles) You'll have to catch me to know. Sherifah ends the call, and smiling, drives away. Mahadi smiles. FADE TO BLACK. OVER BLACK. UNIDENTIFIED CALLER (V.O.) Hello Sherifah. INT. PIANO BAR - DAY The wedding reception.

SCREEN CAPTION: ONE YEAR LATER Sherifah, in wedding dress, is shocked as she speaks into her hands-free. SHERIFAH This is my special day. UNIDENTIFIED CALLER (V.O.) I know. Never seen you this beautiful. SHERIFAH Don't ruin it for me. Please. UNIDENTIFIED CALLER (V.O.) It's out of my hands. REVEAL Moses and Ogechi getting married, Eloho is the unidentified speaker, reading her toast from a note. Sherifah Lawson is the bridesmaid. UNIDENTIFIED CALLER (CONT'D) I'm sorry Sherifah. You've rolled the dice. Bespectacled Man and his Wife stride towards Sherifah purposefully. She sighs despondently ... and then suddenly, her eyes slit, ready for action. Some guests walk past Sherifah, covering her from approaching man and wife, and when they walk past, Sherifah's disappeared. Man and Wife are baffled, the two men seated behind her look right and left frantically. REVEAL Mahadi from a corner of the room, watching - he's the Unidentified Caller. Mahadi smiles. MAHADI You're good. Some guests walk past him too, covering him, and when they walk out of view, he's gone. INT. KITCHEN - CONTINUOUS Oil pans SIZZLE and HISS and there's CLANGING and SNIPPING on fish and meat boards as the cooking staff make the meals. Sherifah enters and meanders through the activity to the other end.

Just as she arrives the door, a goon enters. He attacks, she deflects and knocks him out. She exits. INT. UPSTAIRS BALCONY - DAY Sherifah hurries across towards the staircase. A MAN and WOMAN are by the balustrade, chatting happily. When Sherifah gets close, the Man suddenly attacks. Sherifah parries and weaves, and takes him down with her handbag. The Woman then attacks Sherifah. The woman is tougher but Sherifah prevails. Sherifah is about to take the stairs, sees two goons ascending. She makes for the elevator, sees two goons below, entering. She looks at the balustrade, moves to it quickly and jumps over it. CUT TO: EXT. LE MERIDIEN - LOBBY - DAY The glass windows slide open, Sherifah catwalks out, confident and unruffled. She enters a waiting hotel cab. SHERIFAH (entering) Airport. Quickly. CUT TO: INT./ EXT. CAB/ ROAD (MOVING) - DAY Moments pass. DRIVER Where will you be taking off to from the airport? Sherifah winces with shock. Driver parks and turns - Mahadi. Sherifah smiles. SHERIFAH

You found me. I'm good. They share a smile. MAHADI (CONT'D) Apologies to Ogechi. She just lost her bridesmaid. SHERIFAH She'll be fine. It's me you ruined a special moment for. MAHADI You were just the bridesmaid. SHERIFAH And that's the closest I've ever come to being with bride in it. Mahadi wears a look of mild surprise and laughs softly. MAHADI The great Sherifah Lawson is a closet romantic. SHERIFAH (embarrassed) I am not. MAHADI And for that, you risked being captured. CUT TO: INT. PIANO BAR - DAY Moses' Father is on the floor, dancing happily. MAHADI (V.O.) The old man hasn't given up on you. One of his men, comes up to him and whispers in his ear. His dance energy reduces and he angrily berates the man - IN MIME. Moses and Ogechi, dancing, watch Moses' Father and laugh discreetly. INT./ EXT. CAB/ ROAD (MOVING) - DAY Mahadi is already driving. MAHADI

SHERIFAH So, what will you do with me? Beat. MAHADI Let's start with a drink. SHERIFAH Something tells me this will be the start of a beautiful relationship. MAHADI You got that line from Casablanca. SHERIFAH (excited) You've seen it? MAHADI Of course, I've seen it. I love old movies. SHERIFAH Which ones are your favourite? PULL OUT as dialogue continues AD-LIB. FADE TO BLACK. INT. PIANO BAR - DAY Loud PUMPING, HIP HOP MUSIC. The guests at the wedding dance STRAIGHT TO CAMERA. INTERCUT WITH INT. IRIS HOSPITAL - DR. MARK'S OFFICE - DAY Mark and Uduak smooching in the office. A wedding band is prominent on their hands. INTERCUT WITH INT. SEGUN AND BECKMA'S HOUSE - DAY The couple are dancing happily - Beckma is heavily pregnant.
