Affordable Lawn Sprinklers and and Lighting quickly, and cleanly installed a 9 zone irrigation system for 0.5 acre of mostly
grass and about 9 trees with the Rachio wifi controller.

They were very knowledgeable about the soil and watering needs for the different areas of the yard and helped to program
both recommended manual watering times and programmed soil and drainage variables into the system. They
communicate effectively via phone, texting, and email. I am impressed by the skill of the crew that installed the system. I
think with their help I will conserve a considerable amount of water compared to last year when I used a series of hoses
and hose timers.

First Project: (Nov. 2013): we had Affordable Lawn and Sprinklers install an 11-zone system.
Second Project: (July 2014): we had Affordable reconfigure several zones and add 2 news ones
due to landscape work in the backyard.

First Project (Nov. 2013) Pre-project details: We worked withRyan. We found Affordable's
pricing to be very competitive and better than most. But, by far, we found Affordable's customer
service and responsiveness to be the best (which continued throughout the entire project). Ryan
took the time to promptly answer all my questions by phone and email (after our initial meeting)
and was very easy going. Scheduling: Scheduling went as planned for the most part. There was
one minor delay noted under work. Joe Clemensarranged. Joe does a fantastic job making sure
everything runs smoothly and as scheduled. Joe is also very knowledgeable about the
products. Work: We were nervous about having a sprinkler system put in because our lawn/grass
was in decent shape and we did not want it ruined during install. Affordable did a great job being
careful to minimize impact to lawn. Heavy machinery is used to install piping so you will know that
work was done, but in was hardly noticeable in some areas and more noticeable in others. By
spring following the install, we did not notice anything. Andy B. stopped by to make sure the work
went smoothly and assisted with work. Like Ryan and Joe, Andy is incredibly professional,
knowledgeable and friendly. There was one minor hiccup in work. We had a submeter scheduled
for install, but the plumber did not have all the right parts. So, Andy and crew came back on a
Saturday to complete the work. This delay was not a big deal to us because we were not watering
grass anyone at this point in mid-November 2013. So, if you can, waiting to do a fall install, when
you don't need to run the system right away, can minimize any work delays.
Second Project (July 2014): Pre-project details: We worked withAndy on redesign and new
zones to address landscaping that we had installed after the sprinkler system. Andy, once again,
was great. He met with our landscape project manager to understand the project and what
reconfigured design needed to be done for a sprinkler system. Pricing was again very
good. Ryan. Scheduling: Scheduling went as planned. Joe was very accommodating at
rescheduling, at our request, due to several delays in our landscape project. Joe was able to

work with us and get project scheduled in middle of summer. Work: The redesigned/new zones
were done smoothly. No issues. The were a few issues that needed adjustment later. Andy was
incredible responsive in addressing all my concerns and issues.
** Overall, I would highly recommend Affordable.

yard
five
years

we
neglected

put

a
sprinkler
system,

was
an
estimated
$5000
by
another
company.
As
long
as
we
were
home
during

summer
we
could
hand
water.
But
now
retired,
we
are
travelling
much
of
the
summer
and
hiring
someone
to
water
our
yard
several
times
a
week
was
getting
expensive,
not
to
mention
we
were
losing
some
plantings
to
the
heat.
We
called
Affordable
Lawn
for
an
estimate
after
seeing
a
$500
coupon
to
install
a
new
system.
The
owner
came
out
and
drew
up
the
plan
and
estimate
and
then
quickly
thereafter
emailed
the
official
contract.
It
took
us
several
weeks
to
respond
and
so
our
installation
date
was
set
in
December.
I
explained
to
Joe
that
we'd
be
travelling
and
he
was
able
to
squeeze
us
in
mid
November.
In
all
communications
the
staff
and
crew
were
polite,
prompt,
helpful.
The
walkthrough
was
thorough
and
answered
all
our
questions.
Our
neighbors
couldn't
believe
how
well
they
hid
the
pipelines
and
how
little
evidence
there
was
of
installation.
They
will
return
in
the
spring
to
turn
the
system
on
and
fine
tune
the
sprayers.
Thus
far
we've
been
extremely
pleased
and
will
write
again
if
anything
changes
with
the
spring
setup.

to

ahead
with
the

Joe
worked
with

to
get

appropriate
documents
completed
for
my
HOA.

approved,

scheduled
an
install

Since
I
would
not
going
to
be
home
the
day
of
the
install,
I
ended
up
meeting
Alvaro
on
the
weekend
so
that
he
could
walk
me
through
the
zones
they
planned
to
install,
along
with
where
the
control
panel
would
go.
On
the
install
day,
Affordable
had
some
problems
finding
the
water
line
from
the
street
despite
it
being
marked
on
the
other
side
of
the
sidewalk.
Apparently
it
did
not
run
directly
under
the
side
walk,
but
took
an
indirect
route.
Because
of
this,
Affordable
needed
to
access
my
house
in
order
to
tap
into
the
house
water
system.
This
was
a

the
spring
since

had
the
system
installed
late
in
the
year
without
giving
the
yard
any
time

recover.

other
minor
issue
is
that
Affordable
has
you
schedule
your
own
inspection
with
the
county
once
the
install
is
complete.
This
was
another
day
I
didn't
realize
I
would
need
to
take
off,
as
the
inspector
needed
to
access
the
house
to
inspect
the
plumbing
(which
passed
with
no
issues).

communicate effectively via phone, texting, and email. I am impressed by the skill of the crew that installed the system. I

First Project: (Nov. 2013): we had Affordable Lawn and Sprinklers install an 11-zone system.
Second Project: (July 2014): we had Affordable reconfigure several zones and add 2 news ones
due to landscape work in the backyard.

First Project (Nov. 2013) Pre-project details: We worked withRyan. We found Affordable's
pricing to be very competitive and better than most. But, by far, we found Affordable's customer
service and responsiveness to be the best (which continued throughout the entire project). Ryan
took the time to promptly answer all my questions by phone and email (after our initial meeting)
and was very easy going. Scheduling: Scheduling went as planned for the most part. There was
one minor delay noted under work. Joe Clemensarranged. Joe does a fantastic job making sure
everything runs smoothly and as scheduled. Joe is also very knowledgeable about the
products. Work: We were nervous about having a sprinkler system put in because our lawn/grass
was in decent shape and we did not want it ruined during install. Affordable did a great job being
careful to minimize impact to lawn. Heavy machinery is used to install piping so you will know that
work was done, but in was hardly noticeable in some areas and more noticeable in others. By
spring following the install, we did not notice anything. Andy B. stopped by to make sure the work
went smoothly and assisted with work. Like Ryan and Joe, Andy is incredibly professional,
knowledgeable and friendly. There was one minor hiccup in work. We had a submeter scheduled
for install, but the plumber did not have all the right parts. So, Andy and crew came back on a
Saturday to complete the work. This delay was not a big deal to us because we were not watering
grass anyone at this point in mid-November 2013. So, if you can, waiting to do a fall install, when
you don't need to run the system right away, can minimize any work delays.
Second Project (July 2014): Pre-project details: We worked withAndy on redesign and new
zones to address landscaping that we had installed after the sprinkler system. Andy, once again,
was great. He met with our landscape project manager to understand the project and what
reconfigured design needed to be done for a sprinkler system. Pricing was again very
good. Ryan. Scheduling: Scheduling went as planned. Joe was very accommodating at
rescheduling, at our request, due to several delays in our landscape project. Joe was able to

work with us and get project scheduled in middle of summer. Work: The redesigned/new zones
were done smoothly. No issues. The were a few issues that needed adjustment later. Andy was
incredible responsive in addressing all my concerns and issues.
** Overall, I would highly recommend Affordable.

When
we
landscaped
our
yard
five
years
ago
we
neglected
to
put
in
a
sprinkler
system,
which
was
an
estimated
$5000
by
another
company.
As
long
as
we
were
home
during
the
summer
we
could
hand
water.
But
now
retired,
we
are
travelling
much
of
the
summer
and
hiring
someone
to
water
our
yard
several
times
a
week
was
getting
expensive,
not
to
mention
we
were
losing
some
plantings
to
the
heat.
We
called
Affordable
Lawn
for
an
estimate
after
seeing
a
$500
coupon
to
install
a
new
system.
The
owner
came
out
and
drew
up
the
plan
and
estimate
and
then
quickly
thereafter
emailed
the
official
contract.
It
took
us
several
weeks
to
respond
and
so
our
installation
date
was
set
in
December.
I
explained
to
Joe
that
we'd
be
travelling
and
he
was
able
to
squeeze
us
in
mid
November.
In
all
communications
the
staff
and
crew
were
polite,
prompt,
helpful.
The
walkthrough
was
thorough
and
answered
all
our
questions.
Our
neighbors
couldn't
believe
how
well
they
hid
the
pipelines
and
how
little
evidence
there
was
of
installation.
They
will
return
in
the
spring
to
turn
the
system
on
and
fine
tune
the
sprayers.
Thus
far
we've
been
extremely
pleased
and
will
write
again
if
anything
changes
with
the
spring
setup.

contracting
them

install

zone
sprinkler
system

came
out
to
my
property
when

work

give
me
an
estimate.
Unfortunately
the
company
had
the
wrong
e-‐
address

me,

I

to
follow
up
with
them
after
a
week
of
not
receiving
it.
After
deciding
to
go
ahead
with
the
system,
Joe
worked
with
me
to
get
the
appropriate
documents
completed
for
my
HOA.
Once
approved,
I
scheduled
an
install
date.
Since
I
would
not
going
to
be
home
the
day
of
the
install,
I
ended
up
meeting
Alvaro
on
the
weekend
so
that
he
could
walk
me
through
the
zones
they
planned
to
install,
along
with
where
the
control
panel
would
go.
On
the
install
day,
Affordable
had
some
problems
finding
the
water
line
from
the
street
despite
it
being
marked
on
the
other
side
of
the
sidewalk.
Apparently
it
did
not
run
directly
under
the
side
walk,
but
took
an
indirect
route.
Because
of
this,
Affordable
needed
to
access
my
house
in
order
to
tap
into
the
house
water
system.
This
was
a

as
I
could
not
get
back
home
to
let
them
in,
but
was
luckily
able
to
arrange
for
someone
else
to
let
them
in.
Overall,
the
disturbance
to
the
yard
wasn't
too
severe,
but
I'll
probably
need
to
lay
new
sod
in
a
few
locations
in
the
spring
since
I
had
the
system
installed
late
in
the
year
without
giving
the
yard
any
time
to
recover.
The
other
minor
issue
is
that
Affordable
has
you
schedule
your
own
inspection
with
the
county
once
the
install
is
complete.
This
was
another
day
I
didn't
realize
I
would
need
to
take
off,
as
the
inspector
needed
to
access
the
house
to
inspect
the
plumbing
(which
passed
with
no
issues).
