WIRE LOOP BREAKING ALARM SYSTEM
ABSTRACT
The project is designed to generate an alarm signal in the event of breaking of a wire in loop. The project uses a buzzer to alert the user. This system is built upon using a 555 timer in astable mode. A transistor is used to trigger the timer, whenever there is a break in the wire loop. In the project a detachable jumper is used as wire loop. If the same is removed it triggers the 555 timer which in turn triggers a buzzer making an alarm sound. The detachable jumper is used instead of a wire for demonstration purpose in this project This project in future can be extended by interfacing it with GSM modem so that whenever the loop breaks, an alert message is sent to the user via SMS.
