Exams and Evaluation
General conditions
1- Applications only from candidates who graduated from colleges and
universities recognized by the ministry of higher education and research of
the united Arab emirates will be accepted
2- All applicants with BSc degree and higher degrees must obtain the
equivalency of their academic degrees from the Ministry of igher !ducation
and "esearch of the #nited Arab !mirates$ %hose with BSc degree from
universities inside #$A$!$ do not need to obtain equivalency from the Ministry
of igher !ducation and research of #$A$!$
&- Applicants with diploma degrees must obtain the equivalency of their high
school certi'cate (obtained from non-Arabic school systems and certi'cates
obtained from private school in #A!) from the Ministry of !ducation in #A!
*- %he certi'cate of e+perience must be from a government facility or from a
recognized private hospital (e+perience from private clinics will not be
accepted) and should be documented, and stamped with approved seals of
the body that issued the certi'cate, #A! embassy-council in the country that
issued the certi'cate and ministry of foreign A.airs of the #nited Arab
!mirates and according to the assets used in the ministry$ %he e+perience
period should cover the last three years (older period than three years will
not be accepted)$
/- %he original certi'cates must be presented signed to be matched with their
photocopies$
0- 1or 2h3 holders4 5linical e+perience after obtaining the quali'cations less
than three years shall not be accepted$ %he documents needed to be certi'ed
and authenticated according to the assets followed in the Ministry$
6- 1or MSc holders4 5linical e+perience after obtaining the quali'cations less
than two years shall not be accepted$ %he documents are needed to be
certi'ed and authenticated according to the assets followed in the Ministry$
7- 1or BS5 and 3iploma ( of & years study) holders4 5linical e+perience after
obtaining the quali'cations less than one year shall not be accepted $%he
documents are needed to be certi'ed and authenticated according to the
assets fooled in the Ministry$
8- 1or 3iploma holders (1-2 years study)9 clinical e+perience after obtaining the
quali'cations less than two years shall not be accepted$ %he documents are
needed to be certi'ed and authenticated according to the assets followed in
the ministry$
1:-%he primary scienti'c quali'cation shall be dependent upon and ta;en into
account when the candidates apply for the e+am or evaluation$ %he higher
degrees such as MSc , 2h3$$etc must be related closely to the BSc degree$
Applicants with non-medical primary degrees ( for e$g$ BSc degree)can not
apply for M< e+amination and licensing even if they have MSc or 2h3
degrees in a medical 'eld$
11-=n the event of interruption of wor; and e+pertise for a period of three years
after the evaluation or e+perience in another area, re-evaluation after the
submission of written and oral e+amination for all scienti'c quali'cations is a
must$
12-%he applicant should specify the specialization desirable for the performance
of the test before the test after that no change will be accepted$
1&-%he applicant who failed in the written e+amination is not allowed to appear
in the oral e+amination$
1*-Applicants who did not pass the oral e+am$ >ill sit for oral e+am only in the
ne+t e+amination trial$
1/-Applicants will be given a chance of appearing in the e+am three times per
year, on the other hand the fourth chance of entering the e+am will be after a
year from the last e+am, a certi'cate of recent si+ months clinical e+perience
( from the last e+am attempt )should be provided before sitting for the e+am$
10-=n case of failure for the fourth time, the application shall be re-accepted for
retesting after one year and as per above$
16-%he minimum period to be adhered to between the e+am and the other is
three months for re-application once again9 5andidates can apply for the
e+amination 've times only$
17-?55 candidates carrying bachelor degree from colleges and universities and
possess ?55 approved wor; license, are e+empted from written e+ams @ and
subAected to oral e+am only in their specialty$
18-!+patriates candidates carrying bachelor degree from #A! colleges and
universities approved by Ministry of igher !ducation and "esearch, with at
minimum one year clinical e+perience are accepted for written and oral
e+aminations$ %hose with no e+perience will be accepted for the e+amination
but will be given one ran; lower on evaluation and a statement B<
!C2!"=!B5! will be added in their evaluation certi'cate$
2:-%he requirements set forth should be applied without e+ceptions$
