Inspiration
In Word of God says “Young Officers”(4 times) from 1 Kings chapter 20.This was the answered after kneeling down in prayer and fasting for 6 months. Youth Alive Ministry is burdened by Lord Jesus Christ to start among rural youth, with the theme,’..Run and tell that young man’(Zec 2:4) to cater their Spiritual and Social Areas of life.
Inspiration
Rural youth were carried away and destroyed in the name of Naxalites (terrorist) due to poverty and exploitation. Many are killed in encounters. This burdened Bro. P. G. M. Christopher to show them a constructive life and hence Youth Alive Ministries (Y A M) was started in 1995 which is pioneer work based at Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh.
Founders’ Thought
We cannot ignore young people or consider them too hard to reach because we do not understand them or the world that is shaping them. God wants young people, to come into true relationship with Him and He has put into our hand a vehicle to help us achieve this YOUTH ministry.

Our Aims
Strategy
We start a Bible study center in a village by praying and conducting a Gospel evening titled “SANGEETHA SABHA” (Musical Show) in which we present good songs with the help our own Choir, skit and a gospel message by which many young people are drawn to Christ . As a follow up we start a bible study in that village.

Y A M enlightens spiritually drained and abandoned youth to the Knowledge of Jesus Christ who is the “only” deliverer from the power of Sin and gives them a abundant Life.

Systematic Bible Study Christmas Rallies Evangelical Retreat
Systematic Bible Study Through Bible study Gods word is taught every week which helps them grow stronger in Christ.

Christmas Rallies In Christmas season young people are invited to the programme where gospel songs, skit and a message is presented and invite them to attend the bible study
Evangelism
Evangelical Retreat Through Retreats non-Christian friends from three to four villages are invited where in Good music, Biblical Doctrine, Group discussion, a practical talk and relevant message is taught.
These are some of the methods we implement in Evangelising the youth for the expansion of His Kingdom.

Y A M prays and aids Each and Every young believer are to be rooted in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ so that they stand firm in the faith which we implement in Discipleship Camps(3 days).

The new young believers who are consistent and wanting to grow in the Lord are to attend this camp in which biblical doctrines, practical Christian life Style, help them to grow stronger in fellowship with the Lord.

Y A M equips a young disciple to be able to lead people to the Knowledge of Christ and be an efficient instrument for the development of Church which are enforced through Leadership Training Camps(5 days)
Leadership
Youth who are mature and genuine in faith are trained as Leaders in these Camps exclusively. Through this camp, concentrated level of doctrines, develop the skills related to conducting bible study‘s, group management, exemplary leadership lifestyle are taught.
Counseling
Y A M makes youth understand the values and principles of life related to Spiritual, Social and Career to be able to make right decisions.
Counseling
Spiritual: Counsel the youth to follow biblical standards in their spiritual conflicts to balance their teenage problems.
Social: Counsel the youth for a better social living by confronting the social customs.
Counseling
Career : Encourage the youth so that they choose a suitable education and career.
Vocational Guidance
Y A M motivates the youth to choose for a Better Career options by conducting practical talks, group discussion and providing good openings.
Samaritan Help Fund
Many of our young people were unable to continue studies especially some would discontinue their studies, seeing their helplessness we have been helping the poor and needy students and later had to started Samaritan Help fund in the year 2004 to help students through this fund.
Samaritan Help Fund
Thus far 54 students were benefitted as assistance for all kinds of fees and books. These loan are free of interest, which should be paid back to YAM in installments in due time.
